In our part of the world we get asked a lot about garden and landscaping design and here in the midlands you have to take some time to think about what would work for you. The weather in Warwick can be very different from day to day. We have written 2 articles whit some great landscaping and garden ideas for your Solihull and West Midlands homes. These garden design ideas can give you the key to a design you’ll love for years to come. Here in the Solihull and Staffordshire we constantly asked for design ideas from getting your lawns into shape to landscaping, paving and driveways. So try these garden ideas to transform your home and outdoor space.

1.Cut your lawn into shape you’d like.

If you’re lucky enough to have a garden look out of your window and the dominant feature you’ll see is your garden. Make sure it’s a good, defined shape. This will set your entire outdoor space on the right track. But keep in mind, it doesn’t just have to be a rectangle! Think about the landscape you want to create.

2. Don’t skimp on flower beds and flowers

Keep your border depth to a metre or more in depth is a perfect size. It’ll give you enough space to put smaller plants at the front whilst the bigger ones can fit behind. For a sleek and modern theme for somewhere like Birmingham or Warwick, Black or silver paving organised in a regular design will form the perfect backdrop. 4.For the best results, coordinate your landscaping slabs and plants.

5.Plan your landscape
